About the Project
Covantex is an online platform that includes everything needed to provide telemedicine services. It is a proprietary telehealth software that is offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) product having a turnkey electronic health technology platform for delivery of healthcare over the internet and mobile technologies in a fully localizable package.
The platform includes profile management, full medical history and payment information, along with scheduling consultations with a physician in real-time, all in a secure HIPAA compliant environment.
Client Requirement
The client approached with a clear vision of leveraging telemedicine to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and affordability for millions of patients globally. They expected us to provide a robust mHealth Portal that seamlessly integrates electronic health record (EHR) management for efficient patient care activities.
Key client expectations included comprehensive tracking of patient visits over time, accurate recording and versioning of patient information, and secure management of medical records adhering to HIPAA compliance standards. Additionally, the client sought features such as virtual appointment capabilities to facilitate remote healthcare consultations.
They also expected to offer customization options to brand the platform according to the client’s needs and integrate seamlessly with their existing physician network and call center, ensuring a tailored and efficient telemedicine strategy.

Complete EMR Solution
Covantex supports easy to use, robust and highly functional EMR solutions. Covantex's Health Portal manages all patient activities and works to provide updated tracking of multiple patient visits.
Push Notifications
All the essential medical reports of the patients are directly sent to the mobile phones. Appointments and other medical records are updated on mobile phones to stay active and healthy.
Secure Medical Records
For the patient's ePHI, the EMR of Covantex provides a secure HIPAA compliant storage to store medical history records and documents. All patients' medical data is encrypted to FIPS 140-2 standards at rest using the industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm.
Effective Communication
Covantex allows employers to quickly and inexpensively send mobile messages that educate employees plus promote and invoke behavior that leads to healthier lifestyles.
The Business Challenge
The clients came with the problem statement to develop online solutions that help contractual relations manage patient data sensitivity among medical professionals in line with strict USA laws and standards.
Patient confidentiality and EMR standards should be taken into consideration. With its active operations in the USA, Covantex has an array of contracts and processes to support the trending technology.
They wanted to design a system where the users can have options to handle full audio and video attachments. The doctors and patients can easily view and even download the medical reports as and when necessary.
They were in need to develop a cloud-based platform of all essential metrics to store everything in an encrypted, protected and secure fashion.
Albiorix's Solution
We have provided the solution where the platform allows any business to add telemedicine as a service offering to their existing product line.
We have designed a complete cloud-based HIPAA compliant ePHI solution by integrating secure HD video conferencing, online prescription ordering coupled with SMS, MMS and eMail integrations. This has been done to facilitate physician scheduling and virtual consults as well as integrated payment gateway integration for billing patients.
It has Twilio integration for video and audio calls between patient and physician, and various BLE devices connected during video call checkups like an otoscope, digital thermometer, stethoscope, etc.
Fully traceable to more than 130 languages.
